Maconomy 2.6 is here!

The newest version of Maconomy, as always, brings usability enhancements and technical updates, as a response to needs of customers. The issue of ergonomics of operation in each of the available interfaces supported by the system – Workspace, iAccess and the Touch - was very important in this release. 2.6 brings many of new functionalities and improvements related to automation of work in the system

The most important improvements:

• Modernized User Interface - Maconomy 2.6 brings a new visually appealing look to the Maconomy web client giving users a more modern experience, it is more user friendly!

New Features Supporting Your Business 

• Block for Purchasing - Previously “Block for Amount Registrations” blocked for creation of new purchase orders – but also other amount registrations. It is now possible to block a job for purchasing only.
• Enhanced Control of Access to Employee Data - Employee records are used throughout the product. With Maconomy 2.6 the ability to control access to employee information is enhanced with :

- The ability to control the employees a user can see in ”HR windows”

- The ability to restrict access to sensitive employee information outside the “HR windows”, e.g. searches and assistants/info bubbles

• Company Specific Exchange Rates - In numerous countries the local government mandates that the exchange rates published by the national bank are used. Previously, this could only be accommodated by extensions and manual work. Maconomy can now derive exchange rates from exchange rate tables specified on the company information card.
